Arcturus Launches JVM Optimization Solution For SOA

Helps To Find Right JVM Settings For Optimal SOA Applications Performance

Arcturus Technologies, provider of embedded solutions for management of J2EE applications and SOA running on BEA WebLogic platform, announced the general availability of AutoPilot JVM Optimizer, a product designed to help customers automatically find the right JVM settings for optimal J2EE and SOA applications performance.

Arcturus technologies created JVM Optimizer so that BEA customers using any JVM would be able to automatically optimize it and attain a worry free predictable production environment. AutoPilot JVM Optimizer extends Arcturus AutoPilot WL and helps Arcturus customers ensure stability and business continuity to its users.

"JVM tuning is a complex but very important process in getting the best performance for J2EE and SOA applications. Finding the right settings for JVM, is not only cumbersome, it's a time consuming mundane task that is often overlooked resulting in production outages.” said Gary Jordan, former Director, BEA Systems, Inc. “AutoPilot JVM Optimizer makes it as easy as 1, 2, 3 and helps customers proactively manage the behavior of JVM in production environment.”

AutoPilot JVM Optimizer leverages Arcturus’ patent pending IntelliTune and IntelliCheck technologies.

“JVMs are the foundation of any BEA WebLogic environment but JVM tuning is often an after thought when customers face problems in production,” said Deepak Batra, Founder and CEO of Arcturus Technologies, Inc. “Incorrectly sized heap or inappropriate garbage collection mechanism usage are often the cause of production outages. For our customers Autopilot JVM Optimizer comes to the rescue and solves such basic but fundamental problem, further strengthening Arcturus commitment of getting our customers a predicable BEA WebLogic environment”
