AUSTIN, Texas, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Innovations (AI), protecting people and the environment with compliance solutions for the oil and gas industry, is setting the standard for cathodic protection, as recognized by the Materials Performance 2014 "Corrosion Innovation of the Year" Award.

AI's new Bullhorn RM4150 Rectifier Monitor, designed to remotely monitor rectifiers used in CP systems, won in the Cathodic Protection category. The award was presented during NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) International's CORROSION 2014 Conference and Expo in San Antonio, Texas.

"The Corrosion Innovation of the Year awards showcase progressive technological developments in all aspects of corrosion prevention and mitigation, and recognize the innovators who have created revolutionary solutions to combat corrosion and protect vital assets from its damaging effects," explains Bob Chalker, Executive Director of NACE International.
